At Houston Methodist, the Magnet Nursing Program Coordinator position cultivates a professional practice environment, by coordinating the Magnet process, assisting with document preparation, maintaining related databases, and supporting professional development. This position assists the Magnet Program Director in identifying nursing quality indicators, developmental needs, performance improvement and research initiatives and other activities that sustain and advance a culture of excellence. The Magnet Program Coordinator serves as an ambassador of the Magnet program employing a variety of communication strategies. This position collaborates with nurse leaders and staff using the ANCC Magnet framework of excellence to create and implement innovative staff engagement, systems and processes.
JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Application Analyst is responsible for intermediate level support and configuration of assigned applications. The position entails assisting, training and supporting customers with the operation and administration of systems. The Application Analyst troubleshoots issues and works with vendors on issue resolution. The Application Analyst partners with customers to increase understanding of available tools to enhance operational efficiencies. Responsibilities may include creating, documentation and assisting other IT groups and teams with issues and problems. The Application Analyst ensures the services provided contribute to the successful accomplishment of department and organizational goals. The Application Analyst possess intermediate technical expertise to support specific healthcare applications. The Analyst will cross train to become proficient in multiple applications. The Application Analyst applies skills in line with Houston Methodist values and goals, to assure the efficient, effective and consistent delivery of high quality IT services.

JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Senior Organizational Development (OD) Consultant is responsible for organizational assessment, recommendation, and development of appropriate interventions; implementation of interventions; and follow-up, evaluation and measurement of outcomes in support of the overall business strategy and objectives of Houston Methodist. Interventions fall in the areas of leadership effectiveness, change management, organizational effectiveness (e.g., employee engagement, process mapping, lean principles, etc.) and talent assessment/ succession planning. This position partners with key stakeholders to design and execute improvement plans, focusing particularly at the Director/Executive level.
Houston Methodist Cardiovascular Surgery Associates- Cypress is currently seeking a full-time Cardiovascular Surgeon with 3-5 years of experience. Methodist Cypress Hospital is scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2025.The successful candidate must be committed to providing unparalleled patient care with excellent clinical skills in diagnosis and management of the full range of cardiovascular diseases including both open and endovascular procedures and hybrid operations. Candidates must be Board Certified with an active (or in the process) Texas Medical License. This is a full-time career opportunity with a competitive base salary plus incentivized bonus structure.

JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Manager Nursing position is responsible for 24-hour comprehensive operational responsibility for the delivery and quality of patient care provided in the designated areas(s) of responsibility. This registered nurse position fosters interdepartmental/interprofessional collaboration. The Manager, Nursing position participates in committees, representing unit and Nursing in a positive manner.The position assists with developing and implementing performance initiatives, ensuring optimal patient safety, outcomes and customer satisfaction. This position demonstrates leadership qualities and critical thinking through self-direction, initiative, effective interpersonal skills and oral/written communications skills.
The manager position responsibilities include managing the daily work activities of the work unit/department staff, ensuring quality, productivity, functional excellence and efficiency while assisting management in accomplishing strategic and operational objectives. In addition, this position provides guidance to staff and is responsible for staffing, budget compliance, contributing to staffing decisions such as hiring and terminating employment, coaching and counseling employees on work related performance, and assisting in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure a safe and effective work environment. This position also implements training, monitoring and operations initiatives that secure compliance with ethical and legal business practices and accreditation/regulatory/ government regulations.

JOB SUMMARY
At Houston Methodist, the Registered Nurse (RN) II position is a licensed staff nurse, an experienced clinician, functions at the Competent to Proficient stage of Benner's model of clinical practice. The RN II position provides professional nursing care to a diverse patient population, conducts nursing assessments, assists with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records. The RN II position provides direct patient care effectively and efficiently which may include patients with varied and complex needs. This position communicates and collaborates with the physicians and interprofessional health care team to facilitate, coordinate and maintain compassionate, efficient, quality care and achievement of desired treatment outcomes. The RN II position demonstrates clinical competence when providing care, using technology, administering medications, performing procedures and managing emergencies, acting as a patient and family advocate in order to monitor and maintain patient rights. This position assumes leadership roles with progressive responsibility including but not limited to participating in or leading unit and shared governance initiatives, serving as charge nurse or preceptor to students or new employees, and possibly contributing to service line or hospital-wide initiatives in partnership with management.
