Postdoctoral positions/research associate/assistant or core staff positions are available to study cancer immune therapies, autoimmune diseases, and neuron degeneration diseases. The CAR-T, immune checkpoint antibodies, gene therapy, genetic editing tools will be applied to translational research and basic science and mechanistic studies. Specifically, we are studying immune checkpoints in myeloid cells and dendritic cells and their role in regulating immune suppression, T cell immune tolerance, ER stress and metabolism. Applicants should possess a solid knowledge in molecular biology, and/or immunological skills. Special consideration will be given to candidates with background and experiences in immunology, signal regulation, inflammation, epigenetics, or bioinformatics. The Immune Monitoring core in Cancer Immunology and Immunotherapy Research Center, Neal Cancer Center at Methodist Research institute offers state-of-the-art technologies, e.g. CyTOF, Imaging Mass Cytometry, spatial single cell transcriptomics, high throughput Olink and flow cytometry, 10X genomics in a highly stimulating research environment.
